He won the New York Fringe Festival's Overall Excellence Award for Solo Performance and the Leffe Beer Craft Your Character storytelling competition. He's lost too many things to mention here. The New York Times said he "mines a great deal of laughter" and Time Out New York called his solo show The Mushroom Cure "a true-life tour de force" and named it a Critics' Pick.
Sureni Weerasekera is a Sri Lankan-born, San Diego-raised, & New York-based stand-up comedian, actor, and writer. She has performed at SF Sketchfest, Desi Comedy Festival, Oakland Comedy Festival, and Silicon Valley Pride Festival. She recently opened for Hari Kondabolu, Irene Tu, and Ashley Gavin.
Sean Reilly was in the 2023 Moontower/Just for Laughs comedy festival, the inaugural Riot Festival in Houston, the West End Comedy Festival in Atlanta, and a finalist in the 2022 Funniest Person in Austin competition. He's opened for nationally touring headliners including Ralph Barosa, Nimesh Patel, Gianmarco Soresi, and many more.
